- This role is an opportunity to be part of the Warehouse Team for a rapidly growing, international product and technology company located in Park City, Utah. Your contribution and proficiency will enable our teams to make key strategic decisions that impact both Avi-on, and the lighting and controls industry.
This role reports to the Avi-on offices in Park City, Utah. Jeremy Ranch Exit on I-80, northwest of Park City, Utah. Actual location of work varies between the office and customer sites. We are seeking candidates who live in geographic areas where we have customers, and during “off” times, this role will travel to the Park City office to assist the team there.
This is a full-time position with benefits that include paid time-off, sick leave, paid holidays, health and supplemental insurance, stock options, and 401(k). Compensation will be commensurate with experience. No relocation package is available. Some remote work is possible for a candidate who is able to prioritize their own tasks and deliver results with minimal supervision. Travel is likely.

Role and Responsibility

General Description:
As a Warehouse Technician, you would be responsible for all aspects of receiving, shipping and controlling incoming and outgoing products and orders.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Oversee all inbound and outbound product shipments to internal and external customers
- Responsible for securing inventory assets and inventory control
- Perform cycle counts, preparing and fulfilling orders
- Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position
- Operate equipment to load and unload trucks and move material within the warehouse
- Maintain warehouse area in a neat and organized manner.
- Meet the service goals of the location
- Review shipments and advising management of shortages or damaged shipments
- Work with Service Manager and Office Manager on proper documentation of merchandise to control
- Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting
Basic Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- No relocation is being offered for this position
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience.
Candidate Criteria:
- Strong oral and written communication ability.
- Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
- Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
- Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
