Commissioning large projects room by room demands a reliable, consistent connection to the Avi-on lighting system throughout. The Avi-on Programming Tool streamlines the Mobile Commissioning App experience by providing a stable wireless connection that holds up across larger installations — reducing dropped connections, speeding up the commissioning process, and giving technicians confidence that what they program is what gets saved.

The Avi-on Programming Tool — an Avi-on Dongle, USB cable, and durable case — is now included with new Avi-on project orders that do not exceed 275 devices. It pairs with the Mobile Commissioning App to provide a stable connection and improved network traffic handling during commissioning. The tool should remain on-site after initial commissioning for use by the end user when making future changes.
