What's New from Avi-on
Avi-on has expanded its Wall Station lineup with two new interface options — black faceplates and touchscreen control panels — giving specifiers and installers more ways to match the control experience to the space.
Black Wall Station Faceplates & Buttons
The Avi-on Wall Station has always been defined by its clean, simple design — and the new black faceplate option extends that to high-end spaces where a standard white finish doesn’t fit the environment. For projects with dark interiors, premium finishes, or a specification that demands hardware consistency throughout, the black Wall Station delivers the same reliable Avi-on control experience with a finish that belongs in the space.
Black faceplates and buttons are now available for all Avi-on Wall Station configurations — 2-button and 4-button. All kits include blank buttons as standard. Custom button label printing is available through Avi-on for projects that require labeled controls.
- Configurations: 2-button and 4-button Wall Station versions

- Fit: Direct replacement — no hardware modifications required
- Cover Plate: Screwless, single gang only. Compatible with standard Decora multi-gang plates
- Finish: Matte finish — the same as our white buttons, with a more modern look compared to the gloss switches common among other manufacturers
Touchscreen Control Panels
For projects that call for something beyond a standard wall station, Avi-on touchscreen control panels offer a fully customized interface to your Avi-on lighting system. With four screen sizes available and layouts programmed specifically for your project, the touchscreen puts a refined, purpose-built control experience on the wall — one that reflects the space it’s in and the way it’s used.
Touchscreen control panels are now available in four sizes — 4″, 5″, 7″, and 10″. Each screen can be custom-programmed by Avi-on to match the specific needs of your project. All sizes integrate directly with the Avi-on lighting control system.
- Sizes: 4″, 5″, 7″, and 10″
- Programming: Custom layouts by Avi-on — programming fee applies
- Integration: Native compatibility with the Avi-on lighting control system
- RS-232 Accessory: The Avi-on RS-232 Dongle is available as a compatible accessory, enabling third-party control systems to send commands to and receive status from Avi-on. Compatible with Avi-on touchscreens, the dongle is not limited to touchscreen use and can be used with other third-party control units as well.
- Crestron Compatibility: The RS-232 Dongle is also compatible with Crestron touchscreen controls. Avi-on provides a development kit for Crestron integrations with command documentation and sample programs.
