What's New from Avi-on

Simpler NTM Installation, Remote BACnet Configuration

Two infrastructure additions that reduce time on-site — at installation and throughout the life of the project.

Avi-on Network Time Manager (NTM) Assembly

Network Time Manager Assembly

The Avi-on NTM Assembly takes the guesswork out of NTM installation. Everything is pre-assembled and ready to go — mount it, connect AC power, and the unit is operational. No sourcing a separate enclosure, no wiring a power supply, no additional steps. It’s a plug-and-go solution that saves installation time and removes complexity from the process.

The Avi-on NTM Assembly packages the Avi-on Network Time Manager in an IP-rated polycarbonate enclosure with an integrated AC-to-DC power supply. Installation requires no custom wiring or enclosure sourcing. Suitable for any mounting environment including exterior and harsh-condition locations.

  • Enclosure: IP-rated polycarbonate, 5.9″ × 5.9″ × 3.5″
  • Power: Integrated AC-to-DC supply included
  • Installation: Plug and play — no custom wiring required
  • Mounting: Compatible with wall, panel, and surface-mount applications, including exterior and harsh-condition locations

BACnet LTE Link

LTE BACnet Bridge

Managing BACnet integration just got significantly simpler. With the Avi-on BACnet LTE Bridge, BACnet points can be added, removed, and reconfigured remotely — eliminating the need for a site visit to complete or update BMS integration. Bridge settings can also be adjusted remotely, which means changes that previously required a technician on-site can now be handled from anywhere. The result is less time spent on-site during initial setup and lower ongoing costs when changes are needed down the line.

Avi-on has combined BACnet and LTE Bridge functionality into a single device, reducing hardware requirements and simplifying installation. BACnet points can be configured remotely, allowing setup of the Avi-on side of the BACnet interface without having an Avi-on technician on-site, including local networking requirements like fixed IP addresses. A standalone BACnet Bridge configuration is also available for projects that do not allow an internet connection on their building control network.

  • Hardware: BACnet Bridge + LTE Bridge combined in one unit
  • BACnet Configuration: Remotely configurable — publishes Avi-on BACnet points on the local BACnet BMS IP network. Complete point descriptions, units, names, addresses, and point types are also published in standard BACnet format
  • Remote Management: Add, remove, or update BACnet points, or update firmware without a site visit
  • Remote Networking: Configure static IPs and other custom Ethernet configurations without a site visit (requires LTE service)
  • Standalone Option: BACnet Bridge available separately for projects that do not require a remote connection (local configuration required)
